Students, Steinsaltz, Simchas, and "Sivivon Sov Sov Sov" (the other dreidel song)

From Roland

Roland Nikles (an active blogger, writer and attorney) of the San Francisco Talmud Circle at the JCCSF has created a blog "Talmud Circle with Peretz Wolf-Prusan (Lehrhaus Judaica at JCCSF)".  He has annotated the first two sessions and illustrated and illuminated many points of interest.

From the Global Day of Jewish Learning

Lehrhaus was a partner in “24×24,” a free video learning resource open to everyone, created by The Global Day of Jewish Learning (from the Aleph Society of Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz) with the generous participation of world-class scholars, artists, rabbis and authors.  Viewers around the world tuned in to live broadcasts on November 14 and 15, 2015. Sessions were broadcast from both in-person events and web-based gatherings. Each speaker brought a unique perspective to this year’s Global Day theme of Love: Devotion, Desire and Deception. Viewers from everywhere joined us for live online discussions by questions of the speakers and fellow far-flung viewers.

Peretz presented “Desire: It’s Good For You! The Body, Sexuality and Fat Rabbis in the Talmud.”
